The following pieces are a diverse variety of (mostly physical) miscellaneous art projects that demonstrate not only various skills but emotions and stories as well.

01: “Stargirl”

2022

This painting was made in 2022 and is my personal favorite physical artwork I have made in recent years. “Stargirl” is what I consider to be my magnum opus, or at the very least, a culmination of my true artistic self. For context, I have always shied away from being creative, childish, and feminine for a large part of my life. It had been instilled in me that being childish, liking cartoons, toys, bright colors and sparkles, was a sign of immaturity or even weakness. In my eyes, it was my strength. As a child, I used to hide that my favorite. color was pink out of fear of being bullied by boys or even adults. This is where I embraced femininity (and what that means to me) in my art, and now the color pink is included in many of my major works. I believe nostalgia to be a useful tool in my art. Invoking and embracing the emotions of our youth is one of the most powerful things one can do. “Stargirl” was the superhero girl I always wanted to be, and can be considered a self-portrait of sorts, making her a mirror to what drew me to art since the second I could pick up a crayon and draw. It is why I proudly hang her in my room and take her with me everywhere I go throughout life, much like the imaginative little girl I was, and always will be.

02: “Gemini”

2021

“Gemini” is also a personal piece to me, but it can also be interpreted in several different ways by the viewer. “Gemini” was created using colored markers and pencils, as well as cut-out pieces of paper collaged on top and several multimedia elements and knick-knacks that I felt fit my vision.

03: “Cross-hatch Sketch Study”

2022

This cross-hatch sketch study was done with ink pen. Though it does not fit my usual aesthetic and style, I proudly represent it as a representation of my ability to draw and create art that stems from realism and demonstrates my knowledge of anatomy and shading in a quick sketch.

04: “Parrot on Green”

2019

Similar to the above piece, “Parrot on Green” demonstrates my knowledge of realism and was done with Prismacolor colored pencils and some elements using colored markers. Made in 2019.

04: “Pixel Art”

2023

Some examples of pixel art character explorations. Both animated and static.

05: “Blender Test!”

2023

My very first Blender creations! I am excited to play around more in Blender and learn as I go as I teach myself more about 3D modeling.
